Christina's Pursuit of Good Health
October 10, 2015
Christina has been into heavy training for her quest in January. She is working out at Heaven and Hell Boot Camp and Orange Theory, and also following a marathon training program. All of this is done before and after work, of course, which in itself is an accomplishment. I couldn't be more proud of her efforts. Most importantly, Christina is definitely a healthier, stronger person which will serve her well the rest of her life.
On September 20, 2015, I attended Christina's half marathon in Fox Valley. She had a great time--30+ minutes faster than her last Disney half marathon. It was a beautiful day and I felt such pride when they announced her name and she crossed that finish line.
One week later, September 27th, Christina ran the Chicago Half- Marathon and did a great job as well. The medal was the size of a dinner plate! I still have to order the official pictures for this one, but here are some screen shots.
Just last weekend, October 4, 2015, I attended Christina's Pumpkin 5K at the Morton Arboretum. She and my niece participated, so my sister and I went to support their efforts. It was a beautiful morning and both of them did very well.

So proud of Christina, too...and honored to be a part of both your lives. It's been amazing following her journey.
